Maria Cervania
North Carolina State House, District 41
I have markedly improved our community’s engagement, participation, and representation, especially with AAPI, LatinX, and African Americans, by increasing voter education and turnout; encouraging BIPOC to take leadership roles on boards and commissioners throughout our county and municipalities; advancing the efforts to recruit, elect and re-elect people of color and allies to represent us in Wake County and North Carolina; and worked diligently on issues that are important to our communities of color such as access to quality healthcare, economic and employment equity; systemic racism as a public health issue; violence and discrimination; language access, and Immigration. If elected at the State level, I will continue championing efforts for positive change for all North Carolinians.
We are in unprecedented times, and our state is facing many challenges. My background is the specific experience needed to help our residents stay safe and healthy, achieve the highest quality of life, and create a North Carolina for All.
