I grew up in Sioux City. After college, I played professional baseball and ultimately played in seven different countries. I ran for Congress in Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District that drew national attention for being a creative, grassroots campaign that moved the needle 24 points in 2018. In 2020, we again outperformed the top of the ticket. I am running to fix education, fight for an economy that works for everyone and secure our democracy by cleaning up the special interests that’s taking over.
