Attorney General Keith Ellison served in Congress for 12 years as a progressive leader. He successfully ran for Attorney General in 2018 and has since continued to champion protections for Minnesotans to afford their lives and live with dignity and respect. His top priorities have been fighting for affordable prescription drug pricing, environmental protections, women’s economic security, and reducing deadly force encounters with law enforcement.

What am I fighting for?

As Attorney General, Keith will continue to fight to make health care more affordable and accessible; to protect the rights of workers and ensure a fair economy for all; and to fight back against attacks on women’s equal pay and reproductive rights. He will continue take on the big drug companies, exploitative student loan services, and any company that tries to rip off every-day Minnesotans.

He has been committed to creating an economic system that allows individuals to thrive and supports a society that is equitable and focuses on communities that have been systemically underfunded and disenfranchised. Keith’s campaign has always been centered on the motto of Everybody Counts, Everybody Matters. This means creating avenues for people to have their voices heard and for communities to build power to be players at all decision-making tables.
