Garland Pierce
North Carolina State House, District 48
During my time in the legislature, I have watched our state slowly erode our shared values like a strong public education, clean drinking water, and more. I am a retired UPS Driver and Senior Pastor of Bright Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg, NC.
In my time in the legislature I have fought for jobs for rural NC, broadband expansion, served as a primary sponsor for Medicaid expansion legislation, and fought for things like clean drinking water. I am proud to have fought hard for our shared values in a rural North Carolina. I come from humble beginnings and am proud of all the work that I have accomplished in my time in the legislature.
