Connecticut Endorsements
Burlington, VT Today, Democracy for America (DFA) endorsed John Murphy
to represent Connecticuts 8thAssembly District as a State Representative. Murphy is a longtime resident of Coventry and
has a lifetime of experience fighting for open and accountable government in
Connecticut. John is a third generation
union electrician, labor organizer, and activist.
John is running to represent the values, determination, and character
of the great people of Connecticut, Jim Dean, Chair of Democracy for America said. Not only is he a longtime labor activist and
a community organizer fighting for open government, but he truly represents the
people of the 8th District.
Its an honor to endorse a candidate like John Murphy we need more
folks like him running and participating in our government.
I've
worked with and stood shoulder to shoulder with DFA since its inception almost
ten years ago, John Murphy said,
accepting the endorsement. I'm honored that this long time partner in my
fight for social justice has stepped up to endorse my campaign for state
Representative here in Connecticut's 8th Assembly district.
