DemocracyForAmerica.com, our nations largest progressivepolitical action community, has endorsed Larry LaRoccos campaign to represent Idaho in the United States Senate. At the heart ofthis innovative campaign, Larry has taken over thirty-five jobs across Idaho, from Bonners Ferry to Rexburg, to stay in touchwith middle-class, working families. His jobs have ranged from mechanicalwork to ranching, banking, and even working as a nurses assistant at a nursinghome.

LarryLaRocco is really working for the Senate. Unlike politicians who pay lipservice to the idea of respecting working folks, Larry is rolling up hissleeves and getting involved, said Jim Dean, Chair of DFA. Democracyfor America is proud to endorse Larry LaRocco because he is showing in everyfacet of his campaign hes in this for the people of Idaho.

Larry LaRoccohas been serving the people of Idaho and the United States for years. In both the public and privatesector, Larry has shown he has the skills and judgment to lead and offercommon-sense solutions to the problems confronting working men and women.Larry served in the Army reaching the rank of Captain before returning to Idaho to work for the late Senator Frank Church.Larry worked as Senator Churchs North Idaho Field Representative; traveling the state and learningfirst hand about the needs of Idahoans.

Though Larry's heart is with the workingpeople of Idaho, he's no stranger to Washington. He served two terms in the U.S. House inthe 90's, where he earned a reputation for hard work, bi-partisanship andhonest brokering.

Military officer, Congressman, businessman, husband, father and grandfather that just about sums up Larry LaRocco. Larry and his wife Chris have beenmarried forty years; they have two children and one grandchild.

Democracy for America is a key endorsement in this race, bringingdonations from progressives and providing volunteers to participate indoor-to-door, grassroots outreach. Larry LaRocco is what we need in the Senate: a committed progressive whounderstands how Washington works and will deliver for his constituents, said Arshad Hasan, Executive Director of DFA. Larry LaRocco has aresume that cant be matched, but by working jobs across Idaho, he is showing what it really means to be arepresentative of the people.
