DFA: “Biden delivered one of his strongest 2020 debate performances… handed Trump a clear defeat”
Here’s a quick reaction to tonight’s final general election debate from Democracy for America’s Chair Charles Chamberlain:
“Joe Biden delivered one of his strongest debate performances of the 2020 campaign tonight and in the process handed Donald Trump a clear defeat at the moment he most needed a win.
“With nearly 50 million Americans having already voted and down in the polls, Donald Trump desperately needed a debate that might change Americans minds about his disastrous presidency.
“Instead, Donald Trump, once again, revealed himself to be a delusional egomaniac with an increasingly tenuous grip on reality, especially when it comes to the recent surge in coronavirus cases.
“Simply put, like a cornered-animal, Donald Trump repeatedly tried to hurl lie-riddled haymakers at Joe Biden and didn’t land a single punch.”-- Charles Chamberlain, Chair, Democracy for America
