DFA CEO: Trump isn’t “going to bully Rep. Rashida Tlaib…into sitting down & shutting up”
This morning, Donald Trump publicly attacked Rep. Rashida Tlaib based on the blatantly false smear made Sunday by Rep. Liz Cheney.
Democracy for America CEO Yvette Simpson released the statement below following Trump’s absurd attack on Rep. Tlaib:
"What Donald Trump and other members of the white nationalist-backing GOP don't seem to understand is that, no matter how perversely they try to twist their words, they're not going to bully Rashida Tlaib or any of the other bold, unapologetic progressive women of color into sitting down and shutting up. It. Is. Not. Going. To. Happen.
