After FCC Closed Meetings with Telecom Industry, Advocacy Groups Join Forces to Protect the Internet from Corporate Control BURLINGTON, VT Democracy for America (DFA), the people powered PAC, today urged the Obama Administration to take a strong stand against the corporate takeover of the free and open internet. In the coming weeks, the Obama Administration will make a critical decision about whether the internet remains open to all or whether corporate interests will be able to control access, said Charles Chamberlain, DFA Political Director.
