Just steps from
the Time Warner Center, the PPL, co-hosted by Democracy for America and
Netroots Nation, is the place for progressives at the Democratic National
Convention. Located at Packard Place, the PPL includes
25,000 square feet of co-working space, wifi and charging stations, as well as
on-site parties, local entertainment, live panels and a progressive studio
hosted by Democracy for America. It will be the place for bloggers, activists,
independent media, and the whos who of the progressive movement.

"This is the place for progressives
to gather in Charlotte, said Arshad Hasan, Executive Director of Democracy
for America. We know this election will be determined by who can turn out
their base in the largest numbers. The
Democratic Party has no greater base than progressives and the PPL and DFAs live-stream
will be the place for these vital voices to be heard at this convention.
DFA is planning three full days of live content from the PPL event, right
outside of Time Warner Center. Beginning
at 9:00AM and lasting until 4:00PM the very best progressive pundits,
commentators, activists, and insiders will be in the DFA Live Studio bringing
progressives from across the country the content they want and deserve.
