RESPONSE: Democracy for America pledges to “obstruct, delay, and halt” Donald Trump’s agenda
Tonight's presidential election results are a living nightmare for our country.
Here's DFA's response to the election of Donald Trump:
"After the most divisive presidential election in the nation's history, the divide in this country will be between those who attempt to accommodate Donald Trump's fringe-right, bigoted agenda and those who will fight him every step of the way.
"So, let's be absolutely clear: Democracy for America will do everything in our power to obstruct, delay, and halt the attacks on people of color, women, and working families that will emerge from a Trump administration.
"After watching Donald Trump's speech tonight, we are more convinced than ever that our country needs a massive, multiracial, multi-generational progressive political revolution led by women and people of color that is not beholden to the broken political establishment that brought us to this moment.
