Throughout the campaign for a public option, DFA members used every tool in our arsenal to pressure Republicans and weak Democrats to stand up to the insurance industry and pass healthcare reform. Whether it was signing and delivering petitions, holding rallies and vigils, making phone calls and writing letters, or funding polling and TV ads, DFA members did whatever it took to put the pressure on, regardless of political party.
