DFA: Trump’s cover-up “temper tantrum” means “time for tiptoeing around impeachment is over”
Following Trump's bizarre Oval Office walkout and Rose Garden temper tantrum this morning, Democracy for America CEO reiterated the group's calls for Congress to open impeachment proceedings against the President.
Statement from DFA CEO Yvette Simpson reacting to Trump's tantrum and increasing intransigence:
“Donald Trump is engaged in a cover-up and, after his absurd pre-planned temper tantrum this morning, it’s crystal clear that impeachment hearings are likely the only way we’ll get to the bottom of what he’s hiding.

DFA began calling for Trump's impeachment in May 2017. Earlier this month, along with other progressive allies, the grassroots progressive group helped deliver more than 10 million petition signatures calling on Congress to act on impeachment.
